The Land Rover Defender consistently has four-wheel drive, and was developed in the 1980s from the original Land Rover series which was launched at the Amsterdam Motor Show in April 1948.

While the first one on this page is the standard military issue Defender, the one below it is a Pulse Battlefield Ambulance (BFA).
